2023 Knights of Columbus donate over 22K to Cody community.

In 2023, the generous contributions from the Knights of Columbus Council 4031 reached commendable levels, with over $22,000 donated to various organizations. These noble endeavors aimed to uplift and support the community, touching the lives of many.

Among the esteemed beneficiaries was the Sacred Heart Catholic Cooperative, which received a substantial contribution. This was complemented by a heartfelt donation made to the St. Anthony Catholic Preschool, fostering the growth and development of young minds.

Recognizing the importance of supporting expecting mothers, the Serenity Pregnancy Resource Center received a significant donation from the Knights of Columbus Council 4031. Additionally, the Cody Cupboard, and Crisis Intervention Services received a generous contribution, offering vital assistance to those facing essential needs.

Addressing the healthcare needs of the community was the Heart Mountain Free Clinic (Cody Branch). Thanks to the altruistic efforts of the council, this clinic was able to continue providing healthcare services to those in need. Another worthy cause that received support was the Manna House Food Pantry, which plays a crucial role in combating food insecurity within the community.

The Knights of Columbus Council 4031 also went above and beyond by contributing to the essential work of the Hope House Park County, striving to provide shelter and support to those experiencing homelessness. Furthermore, the council stood firmly in their commitment to promoting the right to life, offering assistance to the Park County Right to Life organization.

In an effort to alleviate hunger, the council generously donated to Food 4 Kids, a program dedicated to ensuring children have access to nutritious meals. Similarly, the Meals on Wheels initiative received much-needed support, enabling them to deliver meals to the elderly and homebound.

Embracing the spirit of goodwill during the holiday season, the council extended a helping hand to the Holiday Helpers program, bringing joy and assistance to those in need. Furthermore, they contributed to a fund established for children in need at Sunset Elementary, ensuring they have the resources necessary to thrive academically and personally.

Demonstrating their commitment to education, the Knights of Columbus Council 4031 provided scholarships for deserving Catholic college students, enabling them to pursue their dreams of higher education. They also recognized the valuable contributions made by the clergy, extending their support through clergy donations.

Fostering inclusivity and promoting physical well-being, the council made a generous contribution to the Special Olympics, empowering athletes with intellectual disabilities to showcase their skills and achieve greatness. Additionally, they helped establish a playground at St. Anthony’s, providing a safe and enjoyable space for children to play and explore.

Lastly, the council assisted the Catholic Charity of Wyoming, acknowledging the valuable work this organization undertakes to uplift and support those in need, promoting compassion, and instilling hope within the community.

Through their commitment to philanthropy, the Knights of Columbus Council 4031 exemplified the essence of generosity, compassion, and community service, leaving an indelible mark on countless lives.
