WHAT WE DO
Knights of Columbus Bishop Maurice F Burke Council #4031 is a community-based charitable organization that has been committed to charitable activities, community service, and supporting various local causes since its founding in 1882. With a mission to bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled, and needy members and their families, in line with the organization's founding principles of charity, unity, and fraternity, Knights of Columbus Bishop Maurice F Burke Council #4031 has brought hope and relief to countless individuals and families in the New Haven, Connecticut area. Our focus on community giving and engagement sets us apart in the industry, and we are dedicated to continuing to make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.

PROGRAMS & PROJECTS
The Knights of Columbus is very much a grassroots organization. The international body does not dictate the charitable programs and activities of local councils. Rather, local councils develop the programs they believe will best serve the needs of their parishes and communities.
It's through four areas of service – faith, community, family, and life – that Council 4031 members truly make a difference as Knights.
As Knights, we pray, work, and play together in everything from Corporate Communion Sundays to the annual Buffalo Bill Birthday Ball (our major fundraiser) to Sporting Clay Shoots. Council 4031 also has trained 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Degree Teams that are available to conduct exemplifications for councils throughout Wyoming and southern Montana.
Through our work, we aim to make a positive impact on the world around us and create a brighter future for all.
LEAD WITH FAITH
SERVE OTHERS
We will help you step into the breach. Dedicated to the Catholic Church's growth and her good works, we provide financial support for seminarians, provide manpower support for parish projects such as construction of the Ten Commandments Monument and Garden, lead the weekly Cenacles of Life and Sunday morning Rosary, and participate in a Prayer Chain. This way, we help our parish and strengthen our personal faith.
We will give you opportunites to put you faith in action by supporting programs such as the Cody Cupboard, and Spirit Mountain Hospice, and by participating in the Adopt-a-Highway program, our members have helped the Cody community prosper.
GUARD YOUR FAMILY
DEFEND YOUR VALUES
We will help you protect your family's financial future. Serving our families is not only part of what we do, it's part of who we are. To that end, we sponsor family-focused events such as a monthly Family Night dinner and program, parish breakfasts, the annual Horton Hears a Who Party, and Keep Christ in Christmas activities. Most importantly, we are able to provide assistance to local families experiencing special needs due to uninsured medical expenses, house fires, and other emergencies.
We will stand with you to fight for what you belive in by supporting organizations such as the Special Olympics, Serenity Pregnancy Resource Center, and local right to life chapters, the Knights lead the charge in pro-life.
